Release Day: Until You Find Me by Amber Hart

HART_UntilYouFindMe_tw

UNTIL YOU FIND ME by Amber Hart is available today! It's both unbelievably sexy and thrilling, so be sure to check it out!

Until You Find Me-FINAL3-3About UNTIL YOU FIND ME:

Amber Hart pushes contemporary romance to its wildest limits in this heart-pounding novel, the story of a girl who travels to Africa to protect the legacy of one man . . . and stays for the love of another.

Raven Moore, a twenty-year-old college student from Michigan, feels out of place in the beautiful, treacherous jungles of Cameroon, staying in the habitat where her father gave his life to help protect endangered gorillas. He left home years ago; now Raven refuses to return home until she unravels the truth about his last days.

Raven certainly doesn’t count on crossing paths with a handsome young hunter—especially one as charismatic and intense as Jospin Tondjii. Instantly, she’s hooked. But Jospin is hiding a dark truth: He is the heir to a powerful poaching empire, part of a ruthless black market that is responsible for the dwindling gorilla population.

Their fathers may have been enemies, but Raven and Jospin forge a bond that goes beyond blood, a relationship that is tested as Raven draws closer to the source of her father’s death. Can she and Jospin bear the weight of the secrets of the wild—and the secrets of their pasts? Or will the rain forest destroy them both?

My Review:

This is one of my favorite jungle books. It is perfectly set and the characters don't have perfect families which I like. Everything about this book is perfectly imperfect! The main character, Raven Moore, really does grow as a person and as a daughter. She has finally realized why her father wanted  her to see and to save the apes. They are smarter then what we give them credit for. While she fighting within herself about the apes, she meets Jospin. He is the man of women's dreams except for a small flaw in his family. He is the heir to a poaching empire. If he didn't kill any animals, he would be my perfect guy! I love the cover. It really captures the Raven and Jospin perfectly as well as the jungle. It deserves 5 stars!! I recommend this to readers who like a forbidden romance, dark and dirty secrets, and adventures in the jungle!!

Endless Affinity (Forever series, #2) by Brooklyn Taylor Blog Tour

SYNOPSIS:

Grace Ingram made one mistake that sent her down a path that

was full of heart break and misery.  In a moment of hesitation her stubbornness left her filled with doubts in her mind that could cause her to sacrifice the love of her life.

Grace was a blue-collar, strong, independent Texas girl that had been with the same guy since high school. Now at the age of 26 she has been asked the one thing most women are waiting and wishing for, but not Grace. The last thing she wanted was to get married and start a family- especially with a guy that had never had to work for a living. She knew Kyle was the only one she had ever loved with all her heart, trusting and allowing a level of intimacy she would never allow with another. After all he was the only man that knew of the abuse she suffered as a high school teenager. The differences in their lifestyles were in such

contrast, though, that it was hard for her to let her guard down.  Grace had no idea the battle she would really be fighting once she realized she was losing Kyle for good.

Kyle Chandler was everything every woman wanted. He was rich, gorgeous and full of charm. He was a ladies’ man but the only girl he had eyes for was Grace, his high school sweetheart. He had the world handed to him on a silver platter. The one thing he couldn’t have and wanted deeply was to make Grace his, but he hadn’t been successful at accomplishing that. After years of reluctance he decides to take the risk and ask her to be his, only to be met with the answer he dreaded.

Now, the three girls are back together, trying to juggle their friendships and their busy lives. McKoy is beginning to take over her successful family Vineyard, and Ashlynn getting ready for the arrival of her baby with Cooper.

Will the people that come into their lives keep them apart? Or serve to make them realize the love that they really share?

Do you have to really lose the most important person in your life to realize how special they are? And how hard will you fight to regain that love?

Can Grace overcome her indecisiveness, confident in the love she and Kyle share, knowing they are meant to be together? And is love really enough?

I woke up to the heat of sunlight blaring on my body

and on my eyes. I heard giggles and saw Cooper standing over us.

“Ummmm, Grace…. Kyle…….”

I sat up and saw I had nothing on and grabbed for my boobs. “Holy shit.”

“Wait a minute Grace don’t move. I don’t want to see anything more than I already have. Kyle don’t move, let me back away and drive the fuck out of here. Ash is going to love this story. Hope y’all had fun on my farm truck. From the looks of it, you had more fun than I did last night.”

“Very funny Cooper!”

I heard Cooper take off on the Polaris and rolled my

eyes.

“How embarrassing! I didn’t realize we had fallen

asleep.”

Kyle laughed. “Let’s get home baby and do that

again.”

“I am going to hear a mouth full from Ash!”

He mumbled “wasn’t it worth it” as he kissed my lips

then turned to give my ass a slap as I got off the truck.

“Hell yes it was worth it!”

"You know Grace, I’ve always been a car person,

but I love this truck." He gave it a good pat. "Do you think that
Cooper would sell it to us?" We both laughed as we made our way to the car
knowing every time we saw this truck it would hold a special memory for us.

my gorgeous soulmate for almost 20 years. I have a full time job in the medical field but hope one day to strictly write. I love to spend my free time reading, being outside and playing with my family and 4 fur babies. I am blessed to have very supportive friends and family that make my life worth living! I started to write at the instinct of "hey maybe I can do that!" and here I am. I
have enjoyed every step of the journey. Every single person I hear from about my stories touches me and confirms the reason why I ventured into this insane dream of mine.

My Review:

Defiantly 5 STARS!!!

First of all, I want to thank Book Plug Promotions for letting be apart of this amazing blog tour!! Without them I wouldn't have ever found this incredible book series by an AMAZING author. I also want to thank the author Brooklyn Taylor. You are the best writer ever, especially with the cliffhangers!!! Thank you for sending your books to me! You are the only author that has sent your books to me and I am grateful!!

I promise No Spoilers, but this book is full of twists and turns, especially the end!! This series about Forever Love and that is exactly what Grace and Kyle have. If only she would let him in. He knows of her past and it is one of great heartache and betrayal. Parents are supposed to love you, especially a mother, not get divorced and remarried to a disgusting pig! Kyle loves Grace with all his heart, but when his father is arrested he must rethink his life and wonder if he can forgive Grace for not telling him the truth.

This book is even better then the first!! Each person has gone through horrors that no one should ever have to face, but with the help of their soulmate, they will be able to have the life that they always wanted. It is truly a fantastic book that deals with real life problems many people face. Brooklyn Taylor has outdone herself once again. It is swoon-worthy, has hot guys, and the characters have a soul consuming love that every girl dreams of! What is not to like? Did I mention the HOTT guys? They deserve and extra T!

Next is McKoy's story! With that kind of epilogue, she has some decisions to make!!! As always Ashlynn and Grace will always be there for her and for each other.

EXCERPT:

“Lex, I love you,” he whispered.

I sucked in a breath of air and fought like hell to keep the tears from falling. It wasn’t the first time he’d ever said it to me, but this time, it felt so…different. A tear fell, and he quickly brushed it away with his lips as he let out a low, soft moan.

“You have no idea how hard it is for me not to make love to you every time I’m with you. I
want nothing more than to be with you, but I want it to be right. I want it to be perfect for you. I don’t want us to sneak into a barn or do it in a car. You deserve so much more than that, sweetheart. I want to make you feel special the first time we make love.”

Wow. Oh…just wow. My breaths were coming out faster. I looked at his lips as I licked mine.

He closed his eyes. “You drive me mad with desire, Alexandra. You have to know that.”

Oh dear God…I think I might have an orgasm…right now…right here.

When he opened his eyes, they were filled with something I’d never seen before. The intense feeling of need I had for him grew about a hundred times.  I tried to talk, but only a whisper came out, “Will…”

When his lips touched mine, I let out a moan. I opened my mouth to him so that our tongues could explore each other like they had done a hundred times before. I brought my hands up and ran them through his hair. When he pushed himself into me, I felt his hard-on, and I wanted to wrap my legs around him so badly.

The kiss started to become passionate…until I heard someone clear his throat. I snapped
my eyes open right as Will pulled back and scrunched up his face.

“Shit,” he whispered so that only I could hear.

He took a few steps away from me as he ran his hand through his hair.
Lord, help me.

I wanted this boy, and even though I knew we had just been caught making out in my father’s barn, my desire for him was so intense that I wanted to cry. I never took my eyes off of him.

He winked at me before turning to the side. “Dad, Gunner, um…I mean, Mr. Mathews…um…I mean, sir…”

I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. Oh…holy…hell. My father just caught me making
out in his barn.

I tried to compose myself as I pushed off the wall and turned to face my father and Will’s
father, Josh. I wanted to giggle over Will struggling on how to address my father, but when I looked into my dad’s eyes, I knew that wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do.

“So…” Josh started to say as he shook his head and smiled at Will.

“Damn, boy…you picked the wrong girl to get caught making out with in her daddy’s
barn.”

I quickly glanced over at Will, who looked at my father and then back at his dad. He smiled slightly, but then he looked back at my father and swallowed hard.

Dragging in a deep breath, my father looked at us. “Alex, Will…I think y’all need to head on up to the house and wait for us on the back porch.”

Will and I looked at each other, and at the same time, we said, “Yes, sir.”

As we walked out of the barn, Will grabbed my hand right in front of my father.

Will looked at me, winked, and whispered, “I think that went well.”

I just looked at him with my mouth hanging open. “You must have a death wish.”

Eternal Soulmate by Brooklyn Taylor

Description:
This book is intended for readers over 18. Sexual content, language and violence.

Ashlynn Ellis’ life was finally coming together. After a troubled childhood she had control of her life just the way she wanted. She had her inner circle of trust consisting of McKoy and Grace who were her lifelong girlfriends which allowed her to keep the boundaries set. But an end-of-life journey for her estranged mother shakes Ashlynn’s distrusting self to the core, which unknowingly leads her to cross paths with her soulmate, Cooper Brooks. Ashlynn has never had a trusting man in her life nor did she want one. She has seen domestic abuse on the front line and can not let these memories go.

Cooper Brooks is a police officer and has seen domestic violence at its worse. As a child with a hard upbringing, he commits himself to his career. He does not have time in his life for a woman and he doesn’t care to look for one; that is until he meets Ashlynn Ellis.

Ashlynn and Cooper meet by what could only be orchestrated by a higher power, and for the first times in both their lives realize love is something they are missing.

Will Ashlynn trust Cooper and let her guard down for this man that worships her? Can Cooper convince her to trust him and embrace the love he wants to give her? Will Ashlynn lose her internal battle and let Cooper in? When someone from her past comes back to destroy her can she protect Cooper, the love of her life, before it’s too late to protect herself? This a passionate love story between two people who were brought together by fate as soul mates made for each other. Is their destiny really meant to spend the rest of their lives together?

MY REVIEW:

The Good: Definitely a 18 and older book, but nevertheless, it is one of my favorite Adult Romance books. The plot was that one look, one touch and you wold find your soulmate. That is what happened to Ashlynn and Cooper. They meet on a plane, one going to pick up a prison and one fulfilling the last wishes  of their dead mother. One night changes everything for Cooper and Ashlynn but that isn't the only twist and turn that will happen to them. This book is my first printed ARC and I am thankful to Brooklyn Taylor for the opportunity. The ending was an expected ending, but loved it all the same. Ashlynn goes from a semi-shy person about her past to a person who would do anything for the people she loved. Even keeping a evil blast from the past away from Cooper.

The Bad: The book seemed quite long, but the I don't know the number of pages because there was none. Publishing error I think. I understand that there had to be a villain and who it was, but he seemed like someone a lot worse than explained. His past makes me understand why he did what he did but he should've risen higher than that.

In the end, there wasn't much wrong with this book, but there was a whole lot of right!! The second book's cover reveal is coming out soon!! Hopefully the wait won't be too long!

The Deeper We Get (Harder I Fall, #2) by Jessica Gibson

The Deeper We Get (Harder I Fall, #2) by Jessica Gibson + The Harder I Fall

Chad Langer was always running. Running from his past, afraid of letting himself be happy and free. College was going to be his new start. New city, new school, new people.
Scarlett would be his undoing. He knew it the moment he saw her. Something in her eyes called to him. She was just as broken as he was.

Sometimes the past doesn’t stay in the past. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles set in their path?

My Rating: 5 stars (well deserved!)

My Review:

The Good: I love this book. The plot of the story is amazing along with its twists. Chad is a great character with a terrible past. He is strong yet can be brought down when people learn his past and leave him. Scarlett is also broken. I feel that you should buy this book because, although she is a fictional character, she deserves to tell her story herself. Both broken and looking for someone to be okay with who they are and the scars they carry. They both develop into people who can deal with their pasts as the book continues. In the end, all is as it should be with their pasts behind them and together!

The Bad: This is a adult romance book and has some detailed sexual scenes. A lot of them which for the characters is alright, but it is a little much. A blast from Chad's past comes to California to find him and when it does it will no let go so easy. Scarlett makes some mistakes that costed Chad dearly. Mostly his reason for getting up in the morning. He had depression, but understanding his background and his refusal to tell her what is going on pushed her away when he needed someone to ground him other then his sister Becca.

Becca Langer was not a normal girl, she didn't have normal girl problems. For most of her life, she’s had to take care of herself, her younger brother Chad, and her drunk mother. She’s lived under the shadow of what her father did when she was ten years old. Forever branded by his actions.
College was her escape, she could get away and finally live. Her dream was to make it in the New York Ballet Company one day. That for hermeant a long road full of hard work and dedication. She didn't have time for distractions, and Levi Klein was definitely a distraction.
Will Levi be able to crack through her tough exterior and really see the wounded soul underneath? Becca needs to be loved, but the question is, will she let Levi love her?

My Rating: 5 stars!!!

The Good: The plot of this story is one for the people who is not light-hearted. It has to do with unloving parents and the destruction of her and her brothers childhood. Becca feels the need to protect her brother while trying to live her own life. Her parents don't even love her or her brother. Her home life was destroying her from the inside out especially after what happened with her sister Fanny. Becca will do anything for her brother, even quite college, but luckily her meets Levi. He is a good looking guy!!  He has become a distraction for her when she cannot have any!! Beeca really develops into a character with many choices she has to make and the consequences of her choices. She goes from a person with a guarded heart, suspicious of the people around who drink, and determined to work herself to the edge to a whole new person instead. She learns that love can be unconditional and doesn't hurt her but gives her strength and Levi is the source of this new person. Her demons don't go alway at once, but she learns to face the truth and how to tell it without breaking down.

The Bad: She just wants to get away from her home life. That is understandable because her mother is an alcoholic and her dad is in prison. Her only brother Chad is in high school and lives with their mother. Chad was caught selling drugs just to help his mother keep their house. Not using, just selling. No kid should have to do that! Becca hasn't trusted people in a long time and it takes a while for her to trust Levi. He is supportive of what she loves to do, but she pushes him away for the sake of keeping the dark secrets buried. Levi trues to get her to open up about her past, but little did he know that what Becca has went through is beyond what he could ever imagine.

The Immortal Sin Trilogy-
Book 2: Immortal Descent
How far would you fall for answers?
Amanda has accepted her new life and the darkness has become more appealing than ever before because of Mitch. But when her world is thrown into a drastic downward spiral, she is left questioning everything. Amanda embarks on a nightmarish adventure and her faith is put to the ultimate test as she journeys onward to discover the true meaning behind family, love and her destiny between good and evil.

My Review for Immortal Sin:
First off, I would like to say that pizza is amazing. I didn't know it could change a Demon (LOL)!!!
I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars. I will tell why, but first to explain the first two sentences above!! In                             the book, there is a girl named Amanda and she lives with her grandmother. Her father disappeared after she was born and her mother is the peace core, but never calls. One night, Amanda goes to her friend's party that she is hosting because her parents were out of the country and bumps into this guy. After that everything starts to change. Her eyes change for black, to pearl, and then back to normal. Then she meets Mitch. She know that he can give her the answers she needs. Mitch on the other had has questions of his own. Once she tells him of the eye color change, it all becomes clear. She is the Immortal Sin. It is like the nephilim, born from human and of fallen angel, but without the human part. Amanda is part Angel and part Demon. That is the Immortal Sin.
By the way, did I mention that Mitch is the Demon? No! Well he is a Demon and for some reason he is changing. He is starting to feel things that he shouldn't. I mean he is a demon, why would he feel anything for Amanda? Well, we know how this will go. He is a demon. She is a Sin. They will get together. Their love is immortal and eternal, and blah blah blah. That is not how is goes. She needs to learn how to control her powers and Mitch can teach her. There is a sense of attraction, but she fights it as long as she can. She doesn't want to hurt. HE can't even say truth or please. Everything seems good, her best friend, Gregg, who is dating her other best friend, Alexia, is a watcher sent by her mother to protect her, her grandmother is an angel, and her demon loves pizza. Then another demon showed up.
The reason I gave this book a 4/5 is because it seemed to go on, and on , and on, until the action in the end with the other demon, Ravish. Amanda fights it, but Mitch just want to protect her and he figures the best way is if she is around him all the time. <---- a="" action="" all="" amp="" and="" angel="" bad.="" bit="" book="" but="" completely="" demons="" end.="" fantasy="" favorite="" fights="" i="" intended="" is="" it="" just="" like="" little="" maybe="" my="" no="" of="" others="" out="" paranormal="" pizza="" pun="" romance="" scene="" she="" so="" t="" that="" the="" there="" think="" to="" too.="" u="" understandable.="" was="" wasn="" whole="" will="">SIN
!!!

My Review of Immortal Descent:
We have Mitch and Amanda together, Gregg and Alexia together, and Prom coming up soon!! All very exciting. Amanda just wants to love and be with itch all the time and Mitch wants the same, except everybody else says that she needs to work on balance and her angel side. Then a new Watcher by the name of Luca comes to help protect Amanda. She and Mitch fight and when Prom night comes around, he doesn't even show up. But, she knows something is wrong. She found Mitch's cell and has had a dream that showed her the underworld and Mitch in danger. She has to get there fast, but doesn't know where to go. Unfortunately, she has to see one person she never thought she would have to meet, her Father.
This is a great sequel to Immortal Sin! I give it a 5/5. There were bad moments, good moments, and very beautiful moments. I hated it when Mitch never showed up for Prom. I thought she might turn to Luca when Mitch didn't show up. Thankfully she didn't. Luca seems weird. I think he might be important later on.  She really loves Mitch. I love how she tries to help everyone, but does it her own way. She got to meet her demon father. He left to protect her, but he has a big secret. He does care about her no matter if he left. I totally recommend these books!!
