I woke up to the heat of sunlight blaring on my body

and on my eyes. I heard giggles and saw Cooper standing over us.

“Ummmm, Grace…. Kyle…….”

I sat up and saw I had nothing on and grabbed for my boobs. “Holy shit.”

“Wait a minute Grace don’t move. I don’t want to see anything more than I already have. Kyle don’t move, let me back away and drive the fuck out of here. Ash is going to love this story. Hope y’all had fun on my farm truck. From the looks of it, you had more fun than I did last night.”

“Very funny Cooper!”

I heard Cooper take off on the Polaris and rolled my

Defiantly 5 STARS!!!

First of all, I want to thank Book Plug Promotions for letting be apart of this amazing blog tour!! Without them I wouldn't have ever found this incredible book series by an AMAZING author. I also want to thank the author Brooklyn Taylor. You are the best writer ever, especially with the cliffhangers!!! Thank you for sending your books to me! You are the only author that has sent your books to me and I am grateful!!

I promise No Spoilers, but this book is full of twists and turns, especially the end!! This series about Forever Love and that is exactly what Grace and Kyle have. If only she would let him in. He knows of her past and it is one of great heartache and betrayal. Parents are supposed to love you, especially a mother, not get divorced and remarried to a disgusting pig! Kyle loves Grace with all his heart, but when his father is arrested he must rethink his life and wonder if he can forgive Grace for not telling him the truth.

This book is even better then the first!! Each person has gone through horrors that no one should ever have to face, but with the help of their soulmate, they will be able to have the life that they always wanted. It is truly a fantastic book that deals with real life problems many people face. Brooklyn Taylor has outdone herself once again. It is swoon-worthy, has hot guys, and the characters have a soul consuming love that every girl dreams of! What is not to like? Did I mention the HOTT guys? They deserve and extra T!

Next is McKoy's story! With that kind of epilogue, she has some decisions to make!!! As always Ashlynn and Grace will always be there for her and for each other.

Between the Layers Review

Most fifteen year old girls are trying to figure out who they are; I’m trying to stay alive long enough to figure out what.

I’ve always been on the run. From my guilt about the things I couldn’t change, and from the voice in my head that won’t let me be normal. But yesterday Tommy and I were in a car accident on the way home from school. When I woke up, Tommy was gone, and so was the world I grew up in. Now I’m running less in a metaphorical way, and more in a “pick up the pace if you don’t want to die” way. Why? Because my eyes are blue, and I’m lost in a fantasy world where that means I’m different. It means I might not be human. It means I should already be extinct, and someone called “The Regent” is determined to make me that way.

I need to find the way home, and before I do that, I need to find Tommy. He’s only in this mess because of me. I can’t do it on my own, but it’s hard to know who to trust when everyone keeps trying to kill me.

About the Author:

SaraJean Panek has loved books since before she could read. One of her earliest memories is of sitting with one of her two older brothers and following along the page as he read her “Rapunzel.” She’s been telling her own stories nearly as long. “Between the Layers” is SaraJean's debut novel. She travels at every opportunity, but currently lives in her hometown of Virginia Beach and spends most of her free time writing, the work she loves.

My Review: 

I give this book three stars. I thought this would be great, but it was ok. When Sera, short for Serendipity, ended up in the other world, I thought it was interesting. There is no sports, no education, nothing in our world is normal there. I thought there might be a love interest, but there din't seem to be one. But like all YA books, there is a evil guy trying to kill Sera. Only because she has blue eyes everyone thinks she is a lost princess and their savior. 

Unfortunately, this book was not my cup of tea. I am glad I read it, but it not one of my favorites. This is only my opinion. If you like this book, then I suggest you continue on reading. It was a fast pace book and is a little confusing. The plot is good, but with the way it unfolded I feel it just jumped around a lot of details that could be important earlier on. All in all, it was an ok book and would recommend that people try it.

My Review: 

The Good: I love this book. The plot of the story is amazing along with its twists. Chad is a great character with a terrible past. He is strong yet can be brought down when people learn his past and leave him. Scarlett is also broken. I feel that you should buy this book because, although she is a fictional character, she deserves to tell her story herself. Both broken and looking for someone to be okay with who they are and the scars they carry. They both develop into people who can deal with their pasts as the book continues. In the end, all is as it should be with their pasts behind them and together!

The Bad: This is a adult romance book and has some detailed sexual scenes. A lot of them which for the characters is alright, but it is a little much. A blast from Chad's past comes to California to find him and when it does it will no let go so easy. Scarlett makes some mistakes that costed Chad dearly. Mostly his reason for getting up in the morning. He had depression, but understanding his background and his refusal to tell her what is going on pushed her away when he needed someone to ground him other then his sister Becca.

Becca Langer was not a normal girl, she didn't have normal girl problems. For most of her life, she’s had to take care of herself, her younger brother Chad, and her drunk mother. She’s lived under the shadow of what her father did when she was ten years old. Forever branded by his actions.

College was her escape, she could get away and finally live. Her dream was to make it in the New York Ballet Company one day. That for hermeant a long road full of hard work and dedication. She didn't have time for distractions, and Levi Klein was definitely a distraction.

Will Levi be able to crack through her tough exterior and really see the wounded soul underneath? Becca needs to be loved, but the question is, will she let Levi love her?

The Good: The plot of this story is one for the people who is not light-hearted. It has to do with unloving parents and the destruction of her and her brothers childhood. Becca feels the need to protect her brother while trying to live her own life. Her parents don't even love her or her brother. Her home life was destroying her from the inside out especially after what happened with her sister Fanny. Becca will do anything for her brother, even quite college, but luckily her meets Levi. He is a good looking guy!!  He has become a distraction for her when she cannot have any!! Beeca really develops into a character with many choices she has to make and the consequences of her choices. She goes from a person with a guarded heart, suspicious of the people around who drink, and determined to work herself to the edge to a whole new person instead. She learns that love can be unconditional and doesn't hurt her but gives her strength and Levi is the source of this new person. Her demons don't go alway at once, but she learns to face the truth and how to tell it without breaking down.

The Bad: She just wants to get away from her home life. That is understandable because her mother is an alcoholic and her dad is in prison. Her only brother Chad is in high school and lives with their mother. Chad was caught selling drugs just to help his mother keep their house. Not using, just selling. No kid should have to do that! Becca hasn't trusted people in a long time and it takes a while for her to trust Levi. He is supportive of what she loves to do, but she pushes him away for the sake of keeping the dark secrets buried. Levi trues to get her to open up about her past, but little did he know that what Becca has went through is beyond what he could ever imagine.

This is one of my favorite thriller series. It seems like a psychological thriller, but it is the best one I have read so far. Now we anxiously wait for June 10 when this last book comes out and the mystery of Mara Dyer is solved!

They are never supposed to be different in anyway, but 1672, aka Twain, is. This book is Twain's journey about how he discovers the mutation and how he interacts with the other Clans because he has never been in contact with anyone but his sponsor Twigg.

This was an interesting book to read. I have never read a science fiction book like this before. I never actually read a science fiction outside of school so this was a new experience. It was different then what I expected. I loved the ending. It was a good book to read if you are a science fiction addict.

He still doesn't remember her, but she has more important things to deal with then her sexy, valkyrie ex-boyfriend…….no not really. But something is going on with Eirik. And not just anything, but something connected to Torin, her mother, her trainer Lavinia, and the Norse Gods. Eirik is a family member of the Gods and not just any Gods, but Odin's son Baldur. He is a deity but is being raised as a human because the Norns saw something in Eirik's future that scared everyone and Raine is supposed to protect him. But soon he is getting runes….and knowing how they are getting there. It's an ongoing mystery that is going to have to solve before he turns evil. And while all this is going on, Torin is finally remembering his memories of Raine and is determined to help her no matter what.

Bad News: It is the end of Raine and Torin's story and it is kind of a cliffhanger were we don't know what will happen to the both of them in the future, but we want to know anyways. 

Good News: It is super amazing and deceives 5 stars. It is absolutely a great ending to Raine and Torni's story.

Great News: There is going o be a third book that deals with Cora and a certain Grimnir. And we might be able to see Raine and Torin again.

I can't wait to read this. The first two books were amazing, but this is going to decide everything once and for all!!! I really can't say more about this book until I read it and for people to read the first two, Legend and Prodigy. I think I need a re-read of both books so that I can be prepared for what's going to go down in Republic History.
