My Review

If I could give 1 millions stars, I would, but I think 5 will do

Warning: The Hades Hangmen deal with New Religious Movements, Cults and Sects, and Motorcycle Clubs

I was given an Arc for a honest review.

I LOVE Tillie Cole and her Hades Hangmen novels! I have never read anything book series that was so sexy and yet terrifying at the same time. I hope and pray that there will be other books and I recommend this series to anyone over 18 and is looking for something different and new, while also looking for some HOTT men!  I have read all three books, so I am IN LOVE with Styx, but I love Ky and Flame just as much!

Maddie and Flame are two tortured souls who have been to Hell and back. Flame can't be touched and Maddie doesn't trust anyone other her sister, Mae and Lilah. All three "Cursed Sisters" are from a secret Religious Cult where beauty is shunned and believed to tempt men into sin. These "men" are evil and take women because they are the Elders. Maddie got the worst of all the Elder's. He was a sadistic man who took pleasure in hurting Maddie physically, mentally, and emotionally. Flame was a boy that no one understood except his mother. He was also traumatized.

They meet and the flames finally go cold. Literally. Flame cannot be touched of Hell's Flames are in his veins, in his blood. Maddie is only one who can touch Flame and not get hurt by them. Together, Flame and Maddie confront their pasts and demons because they are each other only salvation. While I am still partial to Styx and Mae, Flame and Maddie's story is one is the most relatable. I might never have gone through either of their traumatizing pasts, but the bullying is something that everyone has gone through whether it is the bullied or the bully theme self. The trauma that they both go through affects their adult selves.

Tillie Cole has outdone herself again with Souls Unfractured and can't wait to see whose story is going to be next!!

Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. I was skeptical when I read the synopsis, but decided to give this book a try and I'm glad I did. I thought it would be another turning gone wrong and she will have to find a mate to balance her out, but I was surprised that she had the power of an Alpha all on her own and Asher, who is like any other hot brooding male!, tries to keep her away from him and his family. 

Giselle is just looking for a family to call her own, but being a werewolf is hard. Especially, when Asher brings up doubts about her adoptive parents and his family. Both sides have lied to Giselle and the mysterious lone wolf is the only one with answers. 

Now being the hopeless romantic that I am, I hope she will end up with Asher because he is on HOTT list with Daemon (Lux) and Kaiden Rowe (Sweet Evil). While it doesn't end the way I expected or wanted, it is a book worth reading! It has its quirks, but it is a 4 star worthy book.

Beau fucking Evans was standing outside a crime scene, crying like a pussy. The other officers on the scene were staring at me, trying to compute what was happening. Piper and I were finally on the same page when I got the call on the radio on my way driving home after my workout. I tried to get to the scene as fast as I could, not knowing how I was going to deal with the situation I was about to face.  Fellow officers were outside the scene, securing the block. I got out of my car and ran to the front of the scene to see what else I could find out. This could not be happening. The only thing I could think of was seeing her face. 

Rodgers walked up to me, shaking his head with a look of disappointment on his face. 

Oh my God, what is he going to tell me? 

How could he possibly tell me she was dead? I get it… I get what Cooper and Kyle were saying now. I get why McKoy tried to hold on to me like she did. She loved me then the way I loved Piper now. I couldn’t picture my life without her. 

When Rodgers reached me, he put his hand on my shoulder and I froze. Here it goes… I hoped I could hold myself together.

“Damn, Evans. This shit sucks. I can’t believe this happened. We always try to make sure the scene is cleared before our detectives go in. We thought we had…” He was choking up. “The victim had already been removed from the scene and they were doing the investigation. I was doing the normal, collecting as much evidence as I could while letting them work.”

I swallowed hard, trying to keep the lump in my throat under control. I was a grown-ass man about to lose it.

I moved up and let myself free from my blue jeans. I felt like I could break a stack of blocks with my hard-on and hoped to God she could accommodate me. She isn’t the only woman that had claimed to be able to handle me but not been able to hack it.  

I had never felt a woman as ready for me as I slid in her moistness. She gripped my ass and guided me to the speed she wanted. She pushed me in so deep, grinding her hips against me. I could have sworn I was seeing stars. The sensation was so intense and nothing like I had ever felt. I had entered Heaven. 

She kissed my neck and bit my lip, sucking as she let go. Her rhythm was steady with mine, and when I brought her to climax, she leaned her head back. I could see her eyes rolling back in her head with satisfaction.

“Feel good, baby?”

“Evans….”

“Yes.”

“Faster… I want more.”

I moved faster and faster until I finished and moved slowly back and forth to get the full effects of the amazing feeling.

I stood up all the way, and she wrapped her arms around my neck. 

She giggled.

“Well?” I asked her.

“Well?”

“Was I as good as I said I would be?” I confidently ask, already knowing my answer.

“I’ve had better.” 

“Really? Who? Give me a few minutes and I’ll try again.”

“I thought maybe if you knew that Tommy and I were always with you then you might feel a little stronger and you might start talking again,” he says as he ties the string around my wrist.

I smile as he fumbles with the strings. “Dad made me change a lot of oil so that I could buy this for you, Katie. I hope you like it.”

I want to tell him I love it but I can’t muster the strength, even though he’s tried to give me all he can.
Instead, I thank him the only way I know how. Once he’s finished tying it, I throw my arms around him and hold on tight.

I vowed that day to never let him go. But I had, and my world went to shit because of it. He takes the bracelet from my hand and ties it around my wrist while I stare at him, completely dumbfounded. “When I got the call, I dug around for it,” he explains. My face flushes with embarrassment as I remember throwing it in his face not so long ago. “I thought maybe you could use a little strength today.” 

My Review:

I absolutely LOVE this book. I made me cry with tears of happiness and remorse. Katie is a stronger then I will ever be. I could never deal with my husband and two children being alive one moment and dead the next. I was glad that her family was there to support her through both the selective mutism and the pain.

I think that, as a character, Katie having Selective Mutism was great choice for her because it gave her brother Tommy, her first love Parker, and her parents a way of communication that normal families will never have.

Overall, it was a fantastic book that made me cry both with the happiness and the sadness. It deserves 10 out of 5 stars because A.E. Woodward has done a fabulous job with her characters and the plot. It is defiantly recombined!!!!

My Review: 5 Stars!!! 

Becca Fitzpatrick is a great paranormal writer, but now she is a great suspense thriller writer. Instead of angels, there are murders and psychopaths. Instead of hot guys, there are...still hot guys!! I fell in love Patch, but Mason was harder to love. He kept going back from good to bad to good to bad. You never knew who had his loyalty. Britt was not my favorite character even though she was the main one. She tried to seem smart while being really naive. 

This was a very gripping book. I had to see what happened next. What is happing to Britt? Is Mason hot or cold? Where is Calvin? I thought the book was going to end in a big cliffhanger and she would make us Hush Hush fans for another Black Ice book, but she wrapped this book up with a big twist and a happy ending. It is quite the thriller. Will they kill Britt and her friend? What is going to happen to Mason in the end? It is also quite an amazing suspense book where it leaves you at the edge of your seat with every page turn.

Becca is a very gifted writer who brings to life, especially in this book, what could happen when someone gets kidnapped which is very different from writing about HOTT angels. If there is a sequel in the works for Mason and Britt, I can't wait to read it!!

My Review:

This is one of my favorite jungle books. It is perfectly set and the characters don't have perfect families which I like. Everything about this book is perfectly imperfect! The main character, Raven Moore, really does grow as a person and as a daughter. She has finally realized why her father wanted  her to see and to save the apes. They are smarter then what we give them credit for. While she fighting within herself about the apes, she meets Jospin. He is the man of women's dreams except for a small flaw in his family. He is the heir to a poaching empire. If he didn't kill any animals, he would be my perfect guy! I love the cover. It really captures the Raven and Jospin perfectly as well as the jungle. It deserves 5 stars!! I recommend this to readers who like a forbidden romance, dark and dirty secrets, and adventures in the jungle!!

He also realized, since she knew his profession, that she had known who he was the moment she saw him. So why hadn’t she mentioned that before now? Maybe she wasn’t a fan.

“We’ve had scans done,” Wyatt said. “X-rays, an MRI—the whole load.”

He moved over to the desk. Everly stepped to the side as Wyatt reached over to retrieve the large manila envelope resting there. She hit Cole’s leg and nearly toppled onto his lap. Out of instinct, he reached out to help her maintain her balance. His hands ended up on her nicely shaped rear end.

She sprang away like a gazelle fleeing a lion. When she turned to look at him, he realized her cheeks were nearly as red as her hair. Her reaction went a long way toward putting him back on an even keel.

“I don’t bite,” he said with a grin. “Come and have a seat.”

He patted the cushion beside him. She looked at it warily, then moved her gaze to him. He patted the cushion again. Her lips moved on a whispered comment of some kind as she stepped around his legs and sat down. It was a small victory, but he felt better.

When he turned to look at her, he caught her scent, a unique fragrance that reminded him of whipped vanilla cream and frosted wildberries. She met his gaze. The combination of her nearness, her scent, and the cautious look in her lovely eyes had his whole body reacting.

Oh, this was such a bad idea.

My Review:

This was one of my favorite books ever involving a famous person. It was just a phenomenal book about how delicate and bitter one's life can be. I love For Everly because it relates to many of us who idolize famous people, but don't realize that they are just regular people like us who have different problems. For rich people, they don't understand how bad it gets for the people in poverty. But Cole Parker is about to understand.

Cole Parker is a a Major League pitcher and has a problem. His pitching arm is hurting like hell and needs a physical therapist. That is where Everly comes in. Everly is a med student who works at the Prix Fixe who just happens to have a teacher who is Cole Parker's brother. Hence Wyatt going to get Everly to help. 

Soon after they start, Cole and Everly start to develop a relationship both of them thought was not possible. But some people don't think she is worth the time of Cole. People from both of their pasts. But they could never come between a love so strong.

It is almost like a Romeo and Juliet story without the killing each other, but involves someone else trying to kill Everly. They come from two different worlds, but find love where normally there isn't any. Defiantly recommended for everyone to read. LOVE IT!
