Regan has no doubt that, although she loathes the vampires, it will be her who "wins" Owen. 

Only problem: Charlie's already fallen for him.

My Review:

I want to point out that I love Heather Hildenbrand and SM Reine's books! Heather Hildenbrand's Dirty Blood series and SM Reine's Season's of the Moon and Season's of the Moon: Cain Chronicles series are heavy re-reads of mine. But something about this book and the way it ends just doesn't add up.

The way Charlie gets kidnapped and the way she "falls" for Owen, it just does't feel like a complete story. The story just comes to a screeching halt at the end. It ends the way the synopsis ends: Charlie realizes she loves Owen and that's it. No explanation. It doesn't lead up to the fight.. It is just ends un an abrupt halt. The writing conflicts between both authors so it is weird to one style of writing and then a different one.

I love both author's, but this book doesn't really work. So I give it 2 stars.

Review: Pretty Little Werewolf by Katie Salidas

I was skeptical when I read the synopsis, but decided to give this book a try and I'm glad I did. I thought it would be another turning gone wrong and she will have to find a mate to balance her out, but I was surprised that she had the power of an Alpha all on her own and Asher, who is like any other hot brooding male!, tries to keep her away from him and his family. 

Giselle is just looking for a family to call her own, but being a werewolf is hard. Especially, when Asher brings up doubts about her adoptive parents and his family. Both sides have lied to Giselle and the mysterious lone wolf is the only one with answers. 

Now being the hopeless romantic that I am, I hope she will end up with Asher because he is on HOTT list with Daemon (Lux) and Kaiden Rowe (Sweet Evil). While it doesn't end the way I expected or wanted, it is a book worth reading! It has its quirks, but it is a 4 star worthy book.

As soon as he inhaled, I knew what he was doing, and although I didn’t move, fear blossomed.  Heart pounding, eyes wide, I waited for him to finish scenting me as a werewolf would a potential Mate, not a distant inhale, but an up-close sample of my scent, infinitely more potent.

Darcy and Mason are back for the sixth book in the Mystic Wolves series. From where the last book left off, we know that Darcy is not who she actually is. It is in fact Amber, Mason's previous girlfriend and almost mate. Thankfully Fate stepped in. Literally! Mason has become suspicious since Darcy had to go through the change to become part vampire. In this book, Mason has finally found out why. With the help of Devlin and Daniel with our favorite witch and a unexpected blast from Devlin's heartbreaking past, they try to get Darcy back in control of her body. 

People have told me that they ended up crying over this book, but I didn't. I absolutely love this book, so it was just me. Each book has a new enemy and very twisty turns! I thought this was the last book, but now I know it absolutely it isn't. The end is...it's like... there are no words for the end except for what the hell just happened?, what?, hah?

This book is defiantly the most swoon-worthlyiest of them all. All the men hot and we get to see our favorite confused vampire nephew, Vlad!! But the best and most awful twist is the last words of the book. It is one twist that you will never forget!! We have been betrayed, but no one knows for sure!!!

My Review

HOLY S..T  That was unexpected. This was the best out of the five. Twists, Turns, and a visit from an unexpected person. This is mind blowing. *stupid blown away face* I am a fan of the Mystic Wolves and recommend this to anyone who has a hangover from our favorite werewolf Jacob. Praise about the Mystic Wolves and Belinda is truly earned. Blew my mind out of this world and into hers. Now I need the sixth installment, Darkness Unleashed.

Darcy and Mason are back. Darcy is being turned into a Vampire and Mason is trying to get her to hold on. Now that Darcy is a vampire, she has new powers and monstrous strength. While Darcy is trying to get help on her thirst, Mason is noticing changes in her. She is lashing out more and more and is acting differently. She isn't even wanting to try and shift into her wolf part. Hopefully Mason can figure out what's happening before something bad happens.

“No,” Crina answered. “She is quite the opposite of being with our group.”

“Wicked,” Crina confirmed.

Anna’s head bounced back and forth between the two as they tossed out adjectives. 

“What their trying to say is she’s bat shit crazy and she will stab you in the back with a spoon, dig your heart out and feed it to the vultures,” Peri’s voice came from behind Anna.

“I thought we already talked about this, Peri,” Sally said without standing up.

“Don’t get your herbs in a boiling beaker, gypsy lady. She just needs your help casting the spell, that’s all.” Peri said as she pointedly looked at her finger nails, inspecting them closely.

“Why do I feel like there is more to it than that?” Costin asked.

“Look,” Peri said shortly. “What I can guarantee is that you don’t have to sacrifice a puppy, you don’t have castrate and elephant and you don’t have to reenact the Lion King with Jen’s baby held up in the air, over a ledge with a bunch of hungry beasts hoping you will drop it, while singing a song about the circle of life. Oh, and you don’t have to give up either of your ovaries. So how much more to it can there really be?”

My Review:

I love this series!!! I am in love with the Grey Wolves series and now reading from Perizada's POV is exciting! Unfortunately you don't see the old gang other then small glimpses of them from Perizada or Sally. Now, I won't spoil the surprise that is about to happen in our werewolf packs, but if you have read the last Grey Wolves book, then you already know!!

This book is about Perizada and her "mate" Lucian. She is very stubborn and hard headed, but so is he. He has been in the Dark forest for a long time. He came for a time where women cover up their bodies. Things are very different for him. 

Never underestimate the power of a mate especially if they are of the fae type or the Hot werewolf type.

Quinn Loftis has outdone herself this time. I wonder if  Jen was giving her advice!! The way everything is described in detail is just magical. It is the one of my favorite werewolf book series EVER!!! I look forward to the second book and the last for the Grey Wolves series!!!
