That took me by surprise. “Why?” I never would’ve imagined that she would give me the response that she did.
“I loved you as a vampire. I want to marry you while you’re still one.”

If you have read the whole series, you understand how huge this is to the whole plot and to Sofia and Derek. She wants to get MARRIED!! She gets Derek all to herself. I wish I could have my own Derek!! That would be an amazing birthday present!!! JK!!!!
